If russia wants to exit the war with the goals achieved it wants, it has to take the dnipropetrovsk oblast and odesa district, as well as prevent harvest destruction in those areas, so the surrounding oblasts would also have to be relatively secured. I think if this were to become a possibility would be when the UK and associated westoids send in their troops. The ukrainian win condition is toppling the putin regime either through his death of old age or assassination, or him being removed from power due to unpopularity from the drafts and economic hardship. Basically give it another 3 years of brutal fucking way-worse-than-vietnam war.
