With how popular randomizers have become as fan mods, and being one of the earliest implementers of it, I still feel like nintendo should make some kind of official randomizer mode in a metroid game.
>bounty hunt mode
>incoporates randomizer-like gameplay in a smaller, randomly generated world space.
>Spawn with a starting loadout. Will need to find a few randomly decided upgrades to progress
>Bounty hunts are essentially chalice dungeons from bloodborne, in metroid form. Makes a small random map of various assets from main game.
>can change between more exploration focused randomizer-esque missions where you need to find a few specific upgrades to complete the map, to combat focused missions that are designed to be done with a full arsenal, and really push your skill in combat.
>any mission ends in a random boss fight as the bounty you need to hunt.
>can do bounties to get points which you can use to unlock different cosmetic suits for main game ala fusion mode in prime 1.
And if we really want to get crazy
>can play as sylux in bounty hunts
