It also doesn't help that Sony is spread thin with so many other things that simply aren't videogames. I read an article recently saying the movie department was bleeding them dry with costant losses and high costs, and that one or two successful movies every five years aren't really worth the whole thing. Nintendo is just now wetting their feet with movie shit, but they are still tied to their games, directly supervised by their developers and writers, and have nothing to do with Hollywood shit. They are one of the few companies left who are totally and wholly dedicated to videogames, meant as "things supposed to have a fun gameplay and good music".
