The multiple souls stuff is so stupid but I just love the idea of it.

Kris would need a giant birdcage in his room or some other sort of container to hold his multitude of hearts. And has to spend quite a bit of time putting them into his body and vice versa.
In chapter 4 Kris somehow releases them all from his body and shoves them into the present boxes. Only for them later to spew out of the kitchen vent while he's on the phone, and there's just a swarm of them moving through the house that no one has noticed somehow.

Weird route meanwhile either becomes even more horrific or just silly. During the Noelle scene not all the souls go with proceed leading to them being stuck in the vents. Out of those that do proceed dozens rush Kris forcing their way into his body while the rest mill about the room. When Noelle asks who is listening a deafening chorus of "US" responds, then when the thorn ring is reequipped a rainbow of flowers bloom. Then later when Kris thinks of Noelle a collage of different colored dots is shown.
