Would the Elite or Ranged focus be better for the Dog to spread its Voidbleed aids?

Decided to do Ironeye next
Can you lads tell me what Bows and passives are decent to look out for?
I kinda like Status ones but then some bosses flat out ignore them, which is incredibly gay
Are crossbows any decent?
