This is true to an extent. Being an artist from 15-25 is charming, intriguing. But from 25-45 people will treat you like absolute shit for being an artist, most people give up on their dreams during this stretch and will resent you for sticking it out. The good news is that if you make it to 45+ while remaining dilligent then people are likely to have immense respect for you in your chosen field.
