I liked Evangelion and End of Evangelion when i watched it a few years ago, but i'm not really sold that these movies are worth the time investment (or were even necessary). End of Evangelion had such a great ending that i'm actually kinda annoyed by the fact that Anno couldn't just let this shit go and come up with something new.

What are your thoughts on the rebuild movies? Is it kino or was it just an easy paycheck for Anno?

Original series is kino. The rebuilds fucking sucked, only the last one was bordering on good and even then is still massively overrated by Evafags.
