Hiding your power level is what got us in this mess. I remember Zoe faking her own death threat to get what she wants. They will literally fake it if they don't get it, so hiding your power level is pretty pointless.

Death threats are extreme, and usually ineffective
but complaining online or to your friends and family anytime something upsets you that they can't do anything about is arguably worse imo.
This is a weird analogy, but just humor me here, it's like if someone kept dropping off vile hobo shoes onto your property
>Wat
Let me finish. Now screaming hostile remarks at your neighbors might not help, whether or not they're responsible, but bringing them into your house, placing them in front of your relatives is just as warped. You're just spreading the frustration and futility. I don't have any equivalent for an online scenario, maybe leaving the shoes in some store other users regularly gather.
The point is smearing your shit around isn't an appropriate response. In fact, opposite the extreme of death threats, some devs or translators or culture commentary clown imply or outright say they derive pleasure from knowing something has distressed someone who can only uselessly complain in their hugboxes. The usually response is to just not buy or engage, which isn't wrong, but the situation is fucked all around. The line being drawn at the customer response is suss. It's like when constant bullying is ignored, but once a victim raises their voice a little suddenly everyone has an opinion piece out on the disturbing implications of anger prone youths.
tl;dr Maybe don't make a living around continuously provoking contempt from people?

Remember when adding new factions was commonly accepted but now I feel like we are stuck in the 3-4 factions for ever. Expansions adding new factions was a good time. Remember being dissapointed that the Naga weren't a playable faction outside of the campaign in frozen throne.
