How the hell did Toriel even get custody of Kris anyways? She has a teacher's salary and clearly goes too far when she drinks. Kris went missing for several hours into the night and not only did she not care or look to find them, she stayed at home and got drunk with some asshole she barely knows. If Asgore didn't have custody before there's no way he wouldn't in the future, right (assuming he doesn't die in chapter 5)?

Does this really look like the face of a man who would rent a Ford F-450 Dually and purposefully run over his best friend's daughter with it?
