In the case of Kimi to Idol, Uta blushing violently in episode 4 was just her being overwhelmed by Kaito's star power and not any hint of romantic development whereas Meroron's blushing when it came to Uta in episode 12 was foreshadowing of the two of them becoming cute and canon.

I do like how there's a reason why they haven't become a full team yet in the summer other than the new midseason having qualms with the name of the group.
Meroron is starting to crack a little, but the Idols are going to have to do something really big to strongarm Meroron into sincerely accepting the rest of them as her friends. Or rather than the idols doing something, maybe the key is Purirun? Well, August should be fun in any case. I can't wait for the next three episodes.
