Why do smartphones and tablets use glossy displays? I just bought a matte screen protector for my phone because pure black + bright sunlight is a bad idea.
Flashbacks to when I replaced my matte LG UltraGear OLED monitor with a glossy LG C2 TV and thought that the glossy display worked so much better while inside.
Seems like everything is backwards. Smartphones should have the matte displays and TVs/monitors should have the glossy ones. Doesn't make much sense to be staring at a black mirror 24/7.
