Brainlet take but not uncommon. The federal judiciary and specifically SCOTUS is the most functional branch of government. Almost everyone who cries about SCOTUS decisions didn't even bother to read the opinions in question let alone have the knowledge to interpret the decision. By law the only way to prevent trannies from purchasing guns is to adjudicate them mentally defective which is to say if you have been involuntarily committed. Even such people can get their rights restored given time and money. The executive cannot change these circumstances without a law passed by Congress and ATF cannot rewrite the 4473s by fiat since SCOTUS itself struck down executive deference. On the civilian side, serious 2A advocates understand that allowing government to revoke rights based on the whim of what the government considers mental illness is a short ticket to total disarmament. The contingent of self professed 2A supporters who would support this, and their are many because they are christfags, don't actually understand the issues at stake and don't have any power in the advocacy organizations that actually protect gun rights. In fact if the Trump admin were to push for banning trannies from gun ownership, antigun circuit courts like the 9th would likely make pro-2A rulings that would setback the Bloomberg pacs that fund antigun politicos in blue states.
All this is trivial because this whole controversy is saber rattling for maga political points after a tranny did a mass shooting. People losing their minds over this lack media literacy. But go ahead and justify your political derangement however you like; you are in good company here.
