-two major ways of escape are eastern cultivation or western alchemy. Latter is escaping the second-death after developing astral body, former involves a couple options, with the highest expression being becoming a celestial immortal.
-Western alchemy is probably compromised by demons. Eastern esotericism tells you to ignore the spooks.
-cleanse yourself and yoir home regularly to get rid of spooks
-don't let the profane and the meat automatons get you down. They're either not in stage of development where they're ready to see reality or they're basically disposable npc's. It's not their fault, so don't resent them too much.
