The hip bones still look horrible and don't make sense unless you picture them as mini-terminators with nuggets inside instead of actual suits of armor.
Like, only marines with full on four cybernetic limbs can wear those by idk, detaching the limbs modular-style and eing shoved inside.
Thats the only way I can make sense of those ball jointed hips.
