The GFL one was probably because the guy who drew the manga inserted his own female MC as the Commander. Gebtaine, a pink haired, female, lazy genius type character, who just wants to slack off and fights with G36 about not being able to. Absolutely nothing like the character in the game.

GFL has been pretty clear the Commander is male since then, the Roche limit PV, for example, goes through all the events of GFL1 and explicitly shows only the Commander as a male.

The people who didn't get V6 Klukai and have just been borrowing one got cucked with this Funsmoke anyway, because you need V6 Klukai and V6 Springfield to kill the boss, and you can only borrow one.
