Dead medium. Anime has been getting worse and worse both in animation and story. Animation is now a gimmick like in vidya.
Just like vidya where it was made by nerdy white guys and was peak Anime made by nerdy nippons was peak. Now its Netflix trash is made constantly and is so poor in both quality and writing that Zoomers dont even know what is good.

Ive seen gen Z anime people fight online practically to the death defending Cyberpunk and that was one that was so bad I couldnt even finish. Same with Solo Leveling which was absolute ass and generic slop.

Frieren was good and actually seemed like a character based drama until I found out S2 and the Manga turns into generic battle slop so I am dropping that. Netflix ruined anime. Demon Slayer was also bad in that animation was its gimmick.
