>roles like vanguards very easily get pigeonholed, especially once bans get involved, where players easily feel stuck playing the same heroes over and over again
>the problem exists now, saying "it won't be a problem 5 years from now" is disingenuous. like if you're being kicked in the balls now it should upset you, because a year from now you'll most likely not get kicked in the balls repeatedly
>duelist role is not in dire need of more heroes for any reason, while vanguard very much is, then followed by strategist
>2 duelist patch is especially bad since you only appeal to people that primarily play duelists, a mixed patch with two different roles is always superior
