When we say “Burn local,” we ain’t just talkin’ ‘bout reppin’ your zip code - nah, it’s deeper than that. It’s about lightin’ the fire where you stand. You build where your feet at. You cook somethin’ right on your own block ‘til the aroma hit the whole city.

Burnin’ local mean you pourin’ your energy, your art, your hustle into your home turf. You takin’ what you got—your story, your roots, your rawness—and you heatin’ it up so much it glow. You ain't waitin’ for a co-sign from the outside, you makin your own lane in the cracks of the pavement.

But don’t get it twisted—burnin’ local don’t mean stayin’ small. It mean goin’ deep before you go wide. You build the fire at home ‘til the whole world feel the warmth.

So yeah—burn local. Spark where you stand. Keep it solid. Keep it loud. Keep it lit.

It's about shooting for the moon while not forgettin' your roots. It's about workin' that grind and givin' back to those who gave to you.

Burn Local is what happens when a star goes supernova. Burn Local is what happens when you stop settlin' for less. But Burn Local's also not about not takin' shit. Burn Local's about WORKIN' for that hustle 'cause you know nothin' in life is free. And that's okay, because you got that engine inside you.

Thump-a-thump-a-thump. Ya hear that? That's a freight train on it's way to the top, that's that ENERGY, that's that KINETIC DRIVE. Vroom vroom, baby! That's makin' sense of this fucked up world and comin' out on top - THAT... is Burn Local.

In the heart of a working-class hood, where cracked sidewalks tell stories and Sunday dinners feed families, there’s a code passed down like scripture, whispered in garages and barbershops: "Only real ones burn local."

Jonny B knew the code. Southside born, Italian blood, Catholic raised. His momma lit candles for the Saints every Sunday, his pops came home with busted knuckles and calloused hands from the docks. He grew up with gravel in his voice and fire in his gut. No silver spoon—just family, faith, hard-work and hustle.

Jonny boxed his way up—scraps in church basements, golden gloves in dusty gyms. He worked days as a blue-collar, nights under streetlights, and Sundays in the pew, whispering “Ave Marias” with bruised ribs. Wore the same beat-up hoodie and steel-toes from his warehouse job to his sparring matches. Never folded. Never forgot where he came from.

While the fakes chased clout and burned flashy imports, Jonny stayed humble, and loyal. Local cigars. Local joints. Local love. You wouldn’t catch him puffin' on some imported nonsense or reppin' brands that never gave back. He spent his paper at Sal’s Deli, hit up Gio’s Auto for tune-ups, and kept Mass on Sundays—even when his knuckles were busted and his ribs hurt from the ring. That’s how he spotted the fakes.

They'd pull up in rentals, wear brands with no soul, knew nothing about respect. No roots. No story. You’d never see them eat with their hands, help an old lady cross the street, or light a candle for their nonno. They freezed global.

Jonny didn’t have to say much. He’d just shake his head, puff slow on a local hand-rolled and say,
“Only real ones burn local.” That’s how the OGs knew.

Now he’s a quiet legend in the neighborhood. Still showing up and mentoring kids at the rec center, bringing cannolis to the old-timers and sliding a few extra bucks to the struggling single mom two doors down. No fame. No filters. Just respect earned in sweat and smoke.

Real recognize real.

I feel creeped out seeing Jon Bernthal in movies cause he's just too intense, too real. It's too much to handle. Like when I see him kick ass on the big screen I imagine what he would do if he didn't have to hold back. I'm just glad he's on our side lol imagine airdropping him into Iraq or something. Freaking massacre.
/tv/ - Our boy Jon Bernthal is hitting the big time now. is Burn Local about to go Global?

You think this about advertising? Heh. This ain't about selling a product, makin' a quick buck, leaving your own blood in the dust. It's about putting your money where your mouth is and wearing your heart on your sleeve. You gotta stand with your folks, your community, bein' out there, bein' real, making things happen that are real, investing yourself to elevate your own, burning local and stayin' true to what really matters. This ain't about selling a nickel for a dollar, the only insatiable greed you gotta have is for makin' things happen, staying grounded, evolving, burning local.

You'd think the guy who invented Burn Local would be intense, right? But nothing can prepare you for when you first see Jon Bernthal on screen. My (now ex) girlfriend at the time started biting her lip right alongside me during Fury only, unlike her, I was biting mine to stop it quivering in fear. Just, thank God a Warfighter like that is on our side and not the Iranians.
