For me? It’s Bernthalls dog Bam Bam. This dog is no joke. I worked at the local animal shelter in the rough side of D.C. a real strong Irish-Italian catholic working class kind of place. Now this dog when we brought him in was not your normal dog. As a puppy he was born in a pool of gasoline to a junkyard dog and survived only by drinking the blood of the rats he killed. No mommas milk for this pup, you see his own mom was shot defending its owner from a group of skinheads that tried to rob the junkyard. Unfortunately the mom and pop (real Irish-Italian catholic working class people) didn’t survive the incident so Bam Bam was on his own for most of his childhood. He used to wander the streets of D.C surviving anyways he could. He got picked up by a bad crowd who used him for underground dog fighting. Due to his hardcore nature the dog could finish any challenger in two bites BAM-BAM and the other dog was done for- that’s where he gets his name. They use to keep him locked in a metal cage that they would electrocute to get him all riled up before a fight, even slipped cocaine into his food so he’d be more aggressive. Well one day cops raided the compound and Bam Bam despite hating his owners they were still the only family he’d ever known, so the dog mauled 4 officers before they shit him 3 times and it still took a team to hold him down. Due to a city law and humane animal ordinance the cops had to drop him off at our shelter. A real mean SOB he didn’t get along with ANYONE. Fight other dogs, bite workers, intimidate potential adoptive parents it was a lost cause. We were sympathetic to his past but still the city laws required he be put down as he was a danger to the community. Trained from the best dog coaches flown in from all over Europe and the US he was taught over 300 ways to bring a full grown man down in 17 different languages. He was the Dons most prized possession and was used frequently to dispose of those who ran afoul of the family. Now here’s were ole Johnny “Big B” “Burn Local” Bernthall comes in.
