I'm seeing so many killer ragequits in my (solo) games now, imagine after the patch

I am conflicted.

Imagine you have a room with two portals side by side. You're running to enter blue, and you will come out of orange. When you are walking toward blue, you see everything that the orange portal sees moving towards you - you are moving in relation to the space the orange portal presents, in relation to itself (even if you're technically moving away from it from the blue portal's point of view).

That's the issue here. If you go through the portal, what forces do you experience? There is relational movement on both sides. You are both approaching the far wall opposite to the portals and retreating from that same wall at the exact same speed. This is one universe, so when you enter the portal you are now in a situation where you have the exact same forces going into the portal as you have going out of it, right?

This means that you couldn't enter same-facing portals at all, right?
