On paper Arc-V was a solid concept of making a single Yugioh series which is a huge love letter to the history of the franchise to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the manga alongside the DSoD movie but they seriously messed it up hard during the Synchro Arc.
It was such a slam dunk of a concept that they could dedicate over 100 episodes to "I UNDERSTOOD THAT REFERENCE, I CLAPPED" and it still would have been a much better show than the final product.
