I'm sifting through different Precure episode lists and they're like 40+ episodes long per individual show.
Are these episodes generally important for a large overarching plot and interconnected narrative, or are they just monster-of-the-week episodes and you can skip like most of the 40+ episodes per show and not really miss anything important?
If so, is there like a guide for condensed versions of each Precure show that like condense each show to 12-13 episodes like a standard anime cour?
I really want to watch Precure just to see what the deal is about. But 40+ episodes is a huge commitment.

To any newfags the reason why there are so many of these threads is that the 3rd world astroturfing fags who are paid to damage control these kind of situations make threads and then spam them until there's a critical mass of posts countersignaling them, at which point they will abanon the thread to make a new one to repeat the process.
