Problem is his "cool kit ideas" are really, really badly implemented (xichun retreat timers for trash payoff, now gubo sang).
But I don't know why the designers who clearly know the game, however flawed it is, far better than him don't take him aside and fix the numbers to at least have decent payoffs or use cases.
