The general consensus is to roll in with either Tremor Capo Meur or Poise+Rupture Lord Lu team since anything else takes too long.
As for floors, don't do packs that have late-canto enemies since they frequently have counter skills that obliterate your ass with unavoidable instant damage.

I didn't and used a burn team on my first clear, so I had to just pray that EGO spam would get me through. My final turn was entirely reliant on Hong Lu's WAW keeping him alive while he ate 7 one-sided AoE attacks from king crab

Aight nerds, I have confirmed after agonizing pain that it is infact possible to full solo MDE with Leisault if you ram your face into a brickwall till it yields. And I'm quite positive I did not have the optimal gifts or enemy buffs either.
Remind me to never ever pick the fucking Goysimp pack again for Floor 15 if I do this again, that piece of shit made me want to pull out my hair. That fucker was rolling 70 on its evade AFTER Meursault got all his buffs rolling. Fortunately, Rose Hunter and Dongbaek were pushovers in comparison.
To torment myself, I'll probably do some kind of MD Duo for Gubosang and Huanshu in a similar vein.

Wei is easier for me than Lei Heng because Wei is unable to apply his conditionals unless you lose clashes unlike Lei Heng who applies them just for clashing. For his big AOE just clash him with an ego (the skill rolls low anyway like most of his attacks do) with someone who has no rupture or tremor. It will do like 12 damage max to your whole team. Doesn't matter if he is doing 200% of 1 damage to your team.

When the ID teaser just came out you had BILLIONS of posts about how Ryoshu was ''wasting'' bleed count by tremor bursting with her s2 even though that is quite literally not possible just with her on the bleed team unless her count application numbers are insane, in which case complaining about a single tremor burst also becomes redundant.

Goysimp rolled way higher than the other 2 and obviously that fight starts with you fighting it. So I had to juggle winning clashes otherwise I explode on the spot/bleed to death after, which meant I had to deal with that Evade the old fashioned way. If Leisault survived till he could clash all of that I did in fact block the evade, but most of the issue was the very start.
Dongbaek was a pushover, I just kind of chain staggered her from burn/tremor as well as sinking gifts, she didn't get to do shit.
Rose Hunter was partially an issue but all I needed to do was win the clashes and soak the damage and he was fine.

He did, but provided I had good rng and Leisault healed himself to full due to ego gifts, he could soak the unclashables in the first phase of the fight and murder it before it got to spamming the worst of said unclashables. I also had to worry about dealing with the bleed stacks which required some fuckery in regards to EGO spam.
The main issue was getting through Goysimp with enough resources and health to get through Rose Hunter after, and Dongbaek was a cakewalk which I first tried once I managed to get to her.

Black Silence Faust, Blue Reverberation Hong Lu, Charles Office Fixer Yi Sang
When Yi Sang is fielded with Faust, he gets special combo attacks with Faust instead/in addition to his normal attacks.
When Hong Lu is fielded with Faust, he gets an entirely different set of combo attacks with her.
When Hong Lu and Yi Sang are fielded together they get a base power boost but lose sanity each turn.
If Faust dies, she actually donates her combat skills to Yi Sang (Waltz in White/Black becomes Furioso) and gives him the Clenched Grudge buff. (Heals Sanity and stagger bar on hit)
If Faust dies Hong Lu gets a buff representing him becoming the Blue Sicko. (He flips to a become a negative sanity ID)
are there any big brain strategies for getting the "replace all skills" achievments?
at first I was like "oh this is easy with solo runs" but then I realised solo runs still fill the squad with IDs

If Damien/Enoch is a Nebulae adjacent creature, it would make sense that he had such a high affinity for being a bucket (even if it didn't work ultimately). Alternatively, having died, been "resurrected" then becoming part of the light at the end of Lobotomy Corp (or before that due to Carmen's experiments) it would make sense that he would become a being of light "those who would be sovereigns of a star" and explain his affinity for Mang.
Then there's the biblical reference about Enoch being taken up to heaven (the stars/Nebulae) by God (Carmen/Miss Sun/A Star).
The bits and pieces change depending on how you think each piece fits together.
Hence why it's very possible that Carmen will have a big part in Meursault's canto.
