Mersault's canto is going to be a ace attorney spoof where we meet all his wacky friends who will either be testifying for or against his innocence as we go through N corps schizophrenic legal system that involves both regular court stuff and putting us through tests to prove our humanity.
Dante/Faust will act as the attorney, and in-between court sessions we'll be snooping around for clues and and witnesses, there will be a fight or 2 excluding Mersault before limbus pays his bail so he can join us on the investigation and Dante repeatedly tries to and fail to pry reasonable information out of Mersault, the verdict of the court case doesn't really matter and could get resolved in part 1 or 2.
The final boss will either be the priest or Hermann.
Tho there must also be a golden bough involved so maybe we'll trying mugging herman/nelly for the Canto 1 bough maybe but really that's the 1 thing I'm having trouble thinking on....
Maybe Mersault mom was in charge of clearing out N corp's broken lobcorp branch and got ahold of the bough that way and we're partially going to court cause criminals in N corp are not eligible to inheritance?
