Limbus is written by like one or two guy. This means that the quality of writing is relatively consistent (for better or for worse). You don't have to worry about hacks like Sakurai ruining a chapter you were looking forward to just to wank her babies again.
And since all characters are also created by a very limited number of people, there is no blatant favouritism based on that alone. The way everything is set up additionally makes it harder for any specific Sinner to be more important than others (aside from Faust) if it's not their turn.
And, more importantly, there are no chinks involved. There is no fate worse than being written by those, they treat bigger word count like something to strive for.

They do though, the whole point of the IDs we have is that they're often something that shares traits from our own sinners, most likely tied to the changes made to not make the ID overlay corrode their minds. Ryoshu always has her sword, and trait to shorten stuff, Yi sang is always curious, Meursault is always in his state of mind that he has + the chain belt, etc.

The actual keypage is just fucking nothing and that is the bigger issue.
There is no meaningful deckbuilding involved because her gimmick does not interact with anything. You slot her exclusives and call it a day. Once you are actually using her, she doesn't do anything beyond just winning clashes and then getting a random card that is either equally generic, doesn't really help or it's from one of the many retarded mods it can pull from. Part 1 led you to understand how massive the Great lake was, and the factions present in it
Part 2 made you understand how terrifying the whales are, and introduced Limbus Company to their first Finger Syndicate

Part 3 is the weakest part
We do not spend NEARLY enough time with the Pequod
And unfortunately, that criticism does retroactively affect the entire canto. Even though the Pequod was only in part 3 we absolutely should have been told about the Pequod from ishmael before part 3. If not from Ishmael's mouth, then maybe by someone else in U corp
This criticism makes the entire canto feel meh in retrospect unfortunately, even though I adore canto 5 part 1 and 2

It’s hard for me to properly remember but I feel my biggest issues were on how we only meet the Pequods by the Canto Dungeon. Unlike the other times that what happens outside influence the inside (like N.Corp going on a crusade across entire cities, the cannon fodder Fixers being organized to tackle La Manchaland beforehand), the V dungeon is sectioned off. The Hook Pirates and The Middle don’t keep at it, while it isn’t like we even got to the Pequod before. Then after barely meeting them we follow separate ways and Ahab kills off the majority of them anyway.
I have been playing Zelda Phantom Hourglass lately and that in turn makes me see this even worse. Having a huge body of water to traverse and locations scattered jn a setting with tons of ships makes for a scenario that there can be a lot of hit, running and reencounters in different places. Which wasn’t as used then.
In comparison while I criticize Hong Lu’s canto last third part with how little it used all the factions setup, we actually do fight groups of them that were also exploring the underground to get to Xi Chun.
