That sort of reporting makes me irrationally angry man. We get so fucking much of it in New Zealand, for example shit like "meet the couples who love their new tiny homes XD" and it's some 40 year old couple who've finally given up and built a shed with a toilet in it. Of course the media paints it as some kind of fucking win.
There was a particularly egregious example a little while ago "This 16 year old has built his first home and is debt free XDD" and when you read the article it turns out he was given a house for removal for free, and his father and uncles helped him rebuild it on their family farm. The whole article felt like some condescending kick in the dick of course.
