That's great and all, and I commend HAL for not making their composers invisible, but my contention still remains that Jun Ishikawa is the essence of Kirby's audio and he s responsible for like 90% of classic, iconic Kirby tunes.
Look at this. All him. King shit.

The less he's involved in the soundtracks, the more I disinterested I become. I like Hirokazu Ando and all, and people often hype him up because he's pegged to be the guy to do all the final boss themes, but tbf I find his work kinda samey. You can hear the same sort of jazziness and the same sort of samples throughout all of his tunes and it all sorta blends together. I think he peaked like 25+ years ago but that's just me.
And the rest of the recent Star Allies-era hires are okay and all but I just don't find their work very distinct. Like maybe a handful of songs in Star Allies and Forgotten Land are really standouts to me that were done by them.

And guess who used Delay Lama in Machine Passage, another all-time great Kirby song. Oh right, it was ONCE AGAIN Jun Ishikawa.
No HAL audio team on Air Riders, Ishikawa is a contractor probably on his way out, Ando is stagnating, the new hires can't compete. IT IS SO OVER.

miss how cartoony kirby used to be as well. he used to have actual personality, but now he's just a boring mascot.
