If you're just sketching the drawing out right now, I'd settle for a simple shape or a fat U or something. A sketch doesn't need to be perfect nor should it be, so if it looks wobbly and fucky, that's fine.

That's why I'd suggest just using a template head shape and if you want to fuck around with it later, you already have a starting position to work with. Even more so when you have a better idea of how the body should be oriented.

Not gonna lie, this is unironically how I usually do 100% of my drawings. As for ideas, just imagine cute anime girls doing things that may or may not be appropriate for anime girls to be doing.
