There's nothing wrong with doing your own lawsuit and hope you do dozens of them.
But for those who don't have your gumption and cash to fund them, they can still make lots of money from using DOJ and DOL lawyers which costs nothing. You can also use state level DOL and EEOC lawyers. I've got a state level discrimination suit in the works right now.
