Well, this is my first time going through with this, so I'm not sure how successful it will be.

What I've noticed is this:

Now two things happen here. The Jeet HR will probably be incredibly pissed and will do a "waiting game" with you. They'll leave the job posting up, wait a few weeks, then take it down and say you weren't selected. They won't hire anybody.

A few weeks will go by and they will repost the job offer, this time more discretely and harder to find. You need to apply again. This usually breaks them, they ignore you application and hire their H1B family member.

Boom. That's how you get them. That's what happened here. I managed to find out who they hired, saw they were indian, and called up a PI and told them what's going on and the plan.

This isn't cheap btw. But I got fairly wealthy off the 2020 crypto bubble so who cares. Once I build a case, I'll submit it to a lawyer and hopefully, sue the shit out of them.
We'll see what happens. I may not get anything, but I'm doing my part and fighting the good fight.

I work for a big software company and you are exactly the kind of person I would hire. The thing that impresses me most when I interview people is someone who does it because they enjoy it. They will always be 10x better and more productive than the guy who just wants a paycheck. So keep hunting for a job. It will happen.

Here's why you can't find a job right now. About 10 years ago. many big corporations decided they could increase profits by offshoring development to India. This led to quality American software being shitted up with jeetcode and the decline in quality of the products which led to drop in sales and profits.

What's happening in many companies without jeet CEO's is a massive purge of offshore and h1b jeets and a shift to either US or Eastern European developers. But it takes time to make that shift.

I've spent the last few years cleaning up the shit jeet code that was layered on top of amazing US engineer code, while the company slowly fires incompetent lying jeets. The whole industry is reorganizing and 'downsizing' which means laying off all the deadwood (jeets). It's changing and you will have opportunities soon.

You're fighting two things:
1. Jeets only hire other jeets, so you need to find a company with US managers. Don't even bother if there's an Indian in management. And often AI resume filters are blocking white males and US citizens, so your resume is never even making it to HR.
2. You are still competing with jeets for entry level jobs. Nepotism will mean you never get hired. You need to aim for mid range jobs and lie about your experience.

I know a bit about tech work so I can explain this a little: The talent they're looking for has 5+ years experience (LOTS looking for 10+) or is a unicorn. Half of all SWE jobs in my area are explicitly senior+, another 40%~ are mid level (3-5 years), graduate/junior positions are basically non-existent which also creates tons of competition (and a lot of junior positions demand experience anyway). You might say "internships!" but I've unironically seen places say they don't count it as experience.
Like 3 major "get fucked juniors" events have culminated to render the job impossible for a White graduate to enter unless you have connections or are the reincarnation of Denis Ritchie.
