Friend of a friend worked for 911 dispatch, specifically psychological counseling.
Worst story was of the 18-19 year old kid who botched his suicide with a shotgun. Most of the pellets missed the brain, blowing off his face. If he hasn't attempted again, dude's still alive but has no eyes and can't chew his food.
Whenever I felt like it was Joever, I remembered that story and decided whatever I was going through was better than a hell of my own making.

Now it's just a numbers game. Statistically, putting myself out there, I am guaranteed to have some result after a sufficient amount of time.
