In fact, I would argue that pandering to invalids rather than the to the common man is tantamount to betrayal of humankind. Striving for a healthy society rather than normalizing an unhealthy one does not profit any society.
So yes, I would say that an "irony poisoned" "insincere" "corporate board room approved" video games have a significant advantage over the garbage you posted.

And it's plain to see that these threads are not, in fact, about video games, but largely contain the same "high quality" discussion you would see in actual >>>/vg/ threads. It just gets worse and worse since posters try increasingly absurd ways to have "stealth" threads here with no viable way to inform the jannies and banish them to /vg/ where their shit threads belong.
Moreover, /vg/'s main problems would be solved almost immediately if everyone posting in general threads here would displace the schizos/namefags/attention whores people complain about in /vg/. High quality, actual discussion would drive those idiots away since they would be ignored by the masses and would have no choice but to slink off to elsewhere for the attention they crave.
