Probably because reddit is treated like an actual social media, it can be addicting to farm engagement that you can track without any extra effort, it's built into their site's UI. Here you just troll for the fun of it, some might be autistic enough to document their successes by at least screen-shotting their farmed (You)s but I'm sure a few will create full on excel spreadsheets over months/years as well.
