No, it was because they failed to learn from those who either failed to teach or were incapable of doing it. Shawn Michaels opened up his own wrestling school and he taught a while there before handing it off to others because he came to the conclusion he couldn't really teach or show what it is that just came naturally to him.
AEW is basically the most successful yard tard thread on that premise alone because several guys tried to impart wisdom onto the younger talent but they would rather go out tot eh ring to play grab-ass and tickle taint with their fucking friends as opposed to piecing together a compelling wrestling match instead of just a sequence of cool looking moves with no substance except for mimicking an anime fight.
