project yes, people project onto characters that aren't literally them all the time. we do it onto people we meet in real life, you see someone that you dont know something about and you begin to project your own thoughts and feelings of what they must be like onto them. Kris is his own person but they clearly are designed to evoke that feeling in players, the desire to say "this is kris look at this art, story, fanfiction, comic etc that i have drawn showing what kris would do (and maybe its what I would do in that situation)."

relating and projecting, kris is designed so that people can do both of these to draw you into the story in the way that toby wants just like the feelings he probably got with some of his favorite games growing up.

it looked really well made gameplay wise. seems like its a large shift up in difficulty from undertale but undertale was extremely easy anyways. When ceroba asks clover if he wants her to stick around it felt like the kind of question an adult would ask an adult, not a child. I dont think im overreacting there really because when I saw that scene it just stuck out terribly like they were going for that "adults should ask kids if its ok to (anything) mixed with a cowboy dying alone but that scene just doesn't come together well the way they actually handled it.

look I'll agree to call you people and say that you deserve rights but you really are annoying, its that simple! Toby made sure to make his gay people story interesting so I have a good time while playing it. usually they start with the gay part and forget to write a story at all.
