There are a variety of handsome men for you to choose from, with a variety of playstyles to experience.
You're a year late but we haven't killed our opening story yet, so we're one of the only looter shooters where you can still experience all the plot without going to a wiki. Furthermore the plot just started getting kind of good, and hasn't gone up it's own ass with multiverse shenanigans yet like most games in the genre. But, you *are* late enough where a lot of the grind has been sanded down for most of the main game (some things are ass of course, but all the core things are easy to get without bullshit).
I would say, yes, now is a good time.
