The only thing NV needs at this point is the x64 treatment that Skyrim got with SE. Emil would be too buttblasted to ever be involved with a bigger rework of the game the way Bethesda went out of their way to do that for Oblivion. And by "out of their way" I mean getting another studio to do it.
