Leaving Deadeye and Lightning Arrow as blatantly OP as it is for so long is going to do a lot of long term damage to player retention and expectations. When 80% of the playerbase is being spoiled by free gigaDPS to the point where boss mechanics don't exist, they will refuse to settle for anything lesser.
GGG let this problem fester for too long.
