I'm not a code monkey, and my field is slightly niche. From my experience positins that accept traditional mail are more selective and better than shotgun roles that hire new grads and foreigners from online mass recrutarions. That may be a local thing tho.

Sometimes i feel that I'd actually meet fun people if I worked difficult and demanding normie field. Normies at the office seem to have more fun that doesn't require someone's suffering.
