Hot take that dyels or people who have already majorly injured themselves don't want to hear:
Back squats and conventional deadlifts are the most important lifts for any weightlifter.
Work arounds like hack-squat machines and hex-bars weaken your supporting muscles.
Its why you hear things like >>76750459 who are fine when doing leg press but then feel pain when doing free weights.
That leg press machine is compensating for his lower back muscles. His lower back muscles are weaker relative to his other leg pressing muscles so he can't properly squat.
Strong supporting muscles allows you to safely lift heavier and heavier weights without injury.
And you only build those supporting muscles using free weights like barbells and dumbbells.
For your own health and longevity, start doing free weight back squats and conventional deadlifts properly.
