You’re just being retarded. Plenty of them are still serviceable, you replace some M9s as needed, and make “new” ones by combining the good parts of worn out ones. It’s much cheaper. Doubly so because all of the bugs have already been worked out of the M9. It’s as simple as the fact that replacing a proven 9mm pistol with another 9mm pistol that doesn’t offer anything new was always a bafflingly stupid idea that offers no benefit.

The military should obviously adopt the Kel-Tec PLR-16 because America and it simplifies logistics by using the same ammunition and magazines as the M4. Also, 5.56 out of the short PLR-16 barrel has similar muzzle energy to 44 magnum and you have a 30 round magazine so compared to the Kel-Tec PLR-16 every other pistol on the market is objectively utterly worthless dogshit.
