HI3 has Elysian Realm, a piss easy weekly timesink where your build is more or less complete in the first 15% of the run. If you pick a recent/meta character it is even more braindead. I think they let you skip the first half of the run now if you clear the previous week so they must realise it's not fun to actually play.
HSR had SU which was boring as sin and necessary to grind for planar ornaments. It was bizarrely difficult at the start of the game, but turned into a free-win weekly timesink pretty quickly, especially since some of the path resonances/blessings basically just play the game for you. They replaced it with something else, I think, I can't speak to the new thing.
GI has Imaginarium Theatre where you have 4 of the game's 7 elements banned every month and a roster requirement that necessitates owning something like 70% of the game's cast to play the highest difficulty, which naturally has more rewards. The starting roster is preset and almost always sucks and character acquisition inside the mode is pure RNG, so you end up playing super scuffed teams, but there are blessings which buff reactions to help carry you. Despite the mode being just as easy as the other hoyo roguelikes, it ends up feeling the most frustrating because you have so little control and are forced to play teams that have no synergy whatsoever.
