The window for perfect guard/dodge and especially offsets really is just way too big.
I understand it's probably to get more casual players into it, but jesus fuckin christ.
The only way I can think they could balance it so that it's still big enough for more casual players is if they made the guard skill increase the perfect block window like evasion does for dodges, but make the baseline more or less like the base doge iframes or something.. that way there's a reason to actually use guard charms in wilds

But never just a handful of "generally good" weapons to aim for.
Its why I like the artian weapons, they're a good jumping in point for anyone looking to change up the weapon they're using. The only problem is that they're R8 and can be enhanced, making them flatly better than their normal counterparts.
