So much of hunting horn's kit can't crit (bubbles, bubble procs, focus strikes, most echo waves) so you'll favor Agitator over WEX/Latent Power
Max Might is still good just because you can get like 80% uptime and it doesn't compete for the Lv3 slots.
Counterstrike and Adrenaline Rush can be good if you are able to keep them up. I have CS3 slotted just because it's a Lv2 skill and the 3rd level is a bigger boost. AR I have on my off-meta >build but I really don't know my uptime percentages for either skill, to be honest.

On the weapon, Horn Maestro 2 is mandatory for extending buff durations, bubble duration and bubble size.
Attack Boost 4/5 will give you better mileage than Crit Boost even if the topline values you usually see on calculators is bigger with CB. If you can't get AB4 then use CB I guess.
A lot of the kit that can't crit is also not affected by sharpness so if you switch from "support" horns to something like GArk later for damage, it's not valuable to slot Handicraft.

Also, if you do switch to GArk, echo wave (slash) can crit for some unexplained reason so you'll probably have to shift your Lv3 deco skills around.

It's not a bad idea but the execution could be better, just like many other things in this game.
The 50 member cap is completely arbitrary and pointless. Squad lobbies could have 100 slots just like regular lobbies but they don't for... reasons. Even if they wanted to keep them at 50 slots I don't see why squads can't have multiple instances of them.

They all have a big blood blast if you don't break their anomaly mode. Garengolm has a special version of this that mixes with his ultimate attack. Elders have a powered Anomaly Enrage which changes their moveset quite a bit and they get this mode faster the lower HP they have.

Anamoly monsters tend to use their hard hitting moves much more often so even when they don't get new moves the fight feels drastically different. Like normal rathian for example might do the tail spin a couple times per fight but afflicted rathian spams that shit almost nonstop
