LobCorp's damage types are just a small part of the setting. The only reason there are two damage types related to sanity is because of lobcorp's singularity.
If the game took place elsewhere in the city, there would be a completely different set. T Corp might be Red/Yellow (Normal/Stagger), Q Corp has been Red/Pale (Normal/Rupture), and the closest to L Corp might be MDM Industries who make the moonlight stones, so Red/White/Black.
