i don't doubt for some players in very specific situations it might be relevant, i'm actually kind of shocked that i'm realizing this now but sinners' resistances are completely inconsequential 99.9% of the time
it's strange, in something like pokemon i'd learn resistances immediately but i could not tell you a single one of any sinner's default resistances for either affinity or skill type
