Off-topic fun fact:
Contagious yawning is linked to empathy, especially emotional closeness. People are more likely to yawn after someone they care about does. Brain scans show that watching someone yawn activates areas tied to empathy and mirroring. People with lower empathy (like those with psychopathic traits) are less likely to catch yawns, but other factors like age, attention, and general mimicry also play a role. So while yawning isn’t a perfect measure of empathy, it does reflect how attuned we are to others emotionally.
If you want to train your empathy and mirror neurons, you just have to yawn when others yawn.
