Yes the card game is really fun. Most people that come from Slay the Spire and Darkest Dungeon like it
The gameplay is the former with the sanity mechanics of the latter while we explore the Chaos (roguelite mode)
Writing starts well but falls off and takes a nosedive by Chapter 4. There is no NTR it’s just that Chapter 4 is like an FGO Sakurai chapter, everyone becomes super retarded and since it’s the chapter they decided to develop Owen he became the posterboy for that. Owen is trying to make himself useful after early failures so everyone is encouraging him. KR zooned on that being the problem but frankly the big issue is that the entire cast became a pack of mouthbreathing retards for the sake of it. It’s no wonder the story is getting rewritten, the game’s Prologue sets you up well but then they fumble it fucking hard because the Producer thought he could write for shit and fired the actual proper writer.
