I was looking forward to Stella Sora as some sort of Blue Archive two cakes sidegrade.
I quickly lost interest and it wasn't even because of the jewness in it. It just didn't grab me like BA did with you and the girls performing a heist straight in the first chapter to show this would be a game with a bunch of crazy chicks. Sora has an interesting setting I'll give it that, but it doesn't get any more as enticing as that.
Conversely, CZN was the game I couldn't care less, had a really good prologue interwined with the Chaos exploration showing you the gameplay. The plot went to shit soon after but the game is so good I can't drop it.

You just don't understand how value works. It doesn't matter that you used extra wave cards to get that 1 extra AP earlier, deluge still produces 1 wave per turn, 1 wave = 1/3 AP, and so it's value is one extra AP in 6 turns.
If you use wave cards to get 1 AP one turn earlier, it means that you won't get it on the next turn. The value remains the same.

Back in the beta, epic cards had epiphanies as well, but later they were removed. They haven't changed deluge since then, it's just terrible without an epiphany.

Eh it matters. This game is a deck builder, interactions between cards is the foundation, and you can shape your deck to feed waves to deluge, which isn't hard. Wave isn't a rigid system, you can have turns where you burst AP if you want. Also Mika has draw and +AP, which all work in unison. Tempo is the real value. Deluge's worth depends on how much you can feed Wave, not as some fixed clock.

Can't say much because card description and ego descriptions don't match. Iceberg cleave says 240% damage and +2 hits if inspiration is active. But her E1 says the 20% damage amount reduction of iceberg cleave gets removed. Her ultimate just says 300% dmg to all enemies and 1 vulnerable, but her E3 says damage proportional t othe number of cards moved above her ult's draw pile is changed from +50 to +80%, so it probbaly messes around with your hand when you use it.
Overall you need her to be at the very least E2 so inspiration gets activated on the first turn draw. So either go all in on her or skip.

I progressed half of the codex with Mei Lin/Selena, and another half with Rei/Rin. I imagine Haru/Khalipe and any Hugo or Tressa comps can do well too. It's not like you can't get to 10 without Veronica or Orlea.
Buffed mobs can fuck you up very easily. Especially the ones that add extra cards to your deck or eat your attack cards. Not to mention that if you get a mindflayer spawn on the buffed node, he'll also have the buff. Unless you have extreme level/gear advantage, it's better to just take the easiest path, since if you actually finish the run, you get another map for free.

I've been trying to make luke work but even when he does well he feels bad to play. Most of this is from his finishing bullet and his dance of the demon card. They should be reworked. Finishing bullet needs to be stronger. And dance of the demon needs to fucking work based on all of the bullets he's used. Add exhaust to both of those cards or something but they just feel like dead weight for most of the match and underwhelming when they do work. His strongest build was just making bullets and buffing his brother's damage.

I've been trying out Kayron but he's such a make or break character. He either gets the god epis early that make the entire run feel like a joke or you get the trash epis where you're struggling because game refused to give you strong ramp cards.
